Why I Started The Series?
I started the What If We Were series to spark important conversations with children about kindness, empathy, diversity, and inclusion—using fun, playful rhyme and vibrant illustrations. As a disabled author and lifelong advocate for compassion, I wanted to create stories that celebrate our differences, inspire young hearts to be their best selves, and remind every child that who they are is more than enough. This series was born from a simple idea: what if we taught values not with lectures, but with laughter, love, and stories that stick?
