This is a great time of year to read this for all ages. Thanksgiving. We all can be more generous and helpful and grateful than ever. This world needs community and kindness. It usually doesn't cost anything to be helpful. Why can't we be more loving!? I love that this author gives several easy examples for everyone!
This was such a beautifully inclusive book about so many different winter holidays! I think it’s so important to teach kids why we say “happy holidays” and not just “merry christmas” because there are so many different holidays this time of the year and so many different ways of celebrating them!
This book shows the meaning of the winter holidays in a way kids will be able to enjoy and learn from!
Also the art was so beautiful and diverse and inclusive!

I bought this book for my 6 yo niece. I love the theme of inclusion, teaching her that each of us may look different but we are all capable of anything. It’s a easy read with playful illustrations perfect for story time.
From our skin color, interests, hair type, and abilities, our differences make life interesting and unique. A wonderful positive message that encourages everyone to accept and embrace our unique qualities and our differences. A good reminder for kids (and adults) of all ages.

"Although this book was written for elementary age children, my 4 year old granddaughter was very intrigued. This well written book about difference’s and kindness was a great introduction to inclusion. We focused on similarities and differences and friendship. My gd also enjoyed the stickers that came with book, they sparked curiosity about how the children could still play together dispute some differences."
